This traditional English silage
knife is used for cutting blocked silage to size.
Hardened and tempered Sheffield steel blade, this
double swaged silage knife is ground to a keen
edge which can be file sharpened.
Silage is a moist conserved fodder,
with nutrition value affected by ensiling process,
storage, type of fermentation, choice of crop
and when to cut . This silage knife is used to
cut out appropriate feed amounts from the stock.
