old traditional potato planters are best used
on clean soil wheer you work up and down a line.
The potato planter tool is inserted and a twisting
motion makes a suitable hole. You make a series
of holes up and down the line with the potato
planter, then walk back down the line with your
chitted potatoes and drop them in the hole, kick
soil over the the hole and it's done. The potato
planter saves you bending when you have a long
line of potatoes to plant.
