Patio knives information
- Patio knives with long handles, short handled
garden patio knives and other English garden tools
This is a Long Wooden Handled
Patio Knife with Leather Strap and Steel blade
from the superb Sorby & Hutton Range. The
shaft is thicker and easier to grip. British made
for disabled gardeners.

These types of patio knives are
designed to assist people with a weak grip, those
with arthritis or other bending and reaching problems.
A patio knife is used to scrape
out weeds from between patio slabs. Weeds tend
to grow in between the patio blocks and a patio
knife can be dragged backwards through the often
tough weeds. All you do then is gather up the
mess. They work - it's easier to drag a purpose
built patio knife through the weeds than try to
dig out weeds with an ordinary knife. The working
end of a patio knife is made of thin tough steel
with a hooked tip which really gets into those
weeds.
