Set
in over 20 acres of magnificent parkland, the
Tatton Park flower show 2008 will offer a wealth
a gardening opportunities for all gardeners.
The
Tatton Park flower show 2009 will again be packed
full of creative ideas. There will be flower and
plant marquees, exhibitions by the national plant
societies, show gardens, a floral design studio
and flower bed competition. Country Living Magazine
and Art and Garden Design Magazine may also both
have pavilions. The Tatton Park flower show pioneered
the back-to-back garden design idea for small
city and rural gardens. Look for show features
such as dry stone walling, hanging baskets, even
a golf course inspired "beautiful hole."
Tatton
Park flower show 2008 was the 10th anniversary
of the Tatton Park flower shows and also the 10th
anniversary of the RHS/Ball Colegrave National
Flower Bed Competition, where 19 local authorities
and colleges showed their skills in seasonal bedding.
For the first time Tatton Park flower show played
host to The British Florist Association. Regional
winners produced extravagant displays in both
the WorldSkills UK 2008 Floristry Final and the
Teleflorist Florist of the Year Competition. There
was also demonstrations and talks on Floral Design
with a chance to immerse yourself in the beautiful
art of floristry and flower arranging.
With
an exclusive mix of design ideas, horticultural
excellence and great shopping, the show will include
enticing marquees featuring glorious floral displays
from RHS award winning specialist nurseries, gardening
societies and organisations all at Tatton Park
Flower Show 2009.
The
RHS National Flowerbed competition, the Plant
Plaza and the Country Living Magazine Pavilion
showcased in 2007 and the Tatton Park flower show
2009 should again display all the very best arts,
crafts and local produce makes this one of the
biggest and best events in the gardening calendar.
