Show gardens at BBC Gardeners' World Live always
have 'wow' factor, with plenty of inspiration
and planting ideas for the gardener.
THE
PLANT MALL
is a showcase for many of Britain's top nurseries,
offering an exciting range of both new and unusual
plants at great prices.
LET'S
TALK DESIGN THEATRE
Last year, the show had a selection of speakers
with years of experience in planning and creating
gardens. Guests included James Alexander-Sinclair,
presenter of Small Town Gardens; Penny Meadmore;
designers Dave Robinson and Steve Bradley.
BBC
GARDENERS' WORLD THEATRE
BBC Gardeners' World Live is all about inspiration
and ideas. No other show offers so many opportunities
to pick up expert advice on a whole range of gardening
issues. The BBC Gardeners' World Magazine Theatre
is at the heart of the show and we have increased
the number of demonstrations on stage as well
as making a spacious standing area to replace
the rows of seating. Visitors no longer need tickets,
giving more people the chance to enjoy the show's
gardening experts.
THE
NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THE
CONSERVATION OF PLANTS AND GARDENS
Daily talks on planting and cultivation, many
by National Collection holders, take place at
the NCCPG Heritage Theatre. In 2003 there were
talks on alpines, astrantia, tradescantia, peonies,
pennisetum, streptocarpus, passion flowers, hardy
fuchsias, lavenders, euphorbia and canna - to
name only a few!
Adjacent is an area dedicated to the NATIONAL
PLANT SOCIETIES - from bonsai to hardy plants,
vegetable gardens to roses.
THE
LAWN CLINIC
Run by the Institute of Groundsmanship, the Lawn
Clinic offers advice on all aspects of lawn care
and maintenance.
MEET
THE EXPERTS STAGE
In 2003 they created a large outdoor celebrity
stage, the ideal place to catch up with all the
BBC gardening experts at the BBC Gardeners World
live show 2005
